Success built on relationships.

Our story

Our people make the difference. It was an entrepreneurial spirit to do things differently in the reinforcing steel industry that led to the creation of AUSREO in 2000. With Dennis Crestani, founding member and Chief Executive Officer, still actively involved in the day-to-day management of the business, this same spirit and passion is as strong as ever.

No matter who you speak to at AUSREO, you will find a happy person who takes pride in their work. Our flat management structure ensures all employees take ownership in the success of the business. For you, this means we respond quickly to your requirements, fix problems immediately, and build a close relationship with you.

The camaraderie at AUSREO is contagious. Whether you are a potential customer, employee or supply partner, once you meet us and experience how we work, you will want to join us.

What we do

AUSREO looks for ways to save you time and money when building your project. Our estimators provide you with alternative products, systems and manufacturing methods, such as prefabrication, in the design phase to help you make the most productive decisions from the outset.

Once shop drawings are completed, our schedulers utilise proprietary 3D modelling software to design and schedule your steel reinforcing. The bar bending and cutting program is sent straight to the manufacturing machine in our factory, thereby, ensuring the accuracy of your delivered steel.

We then work with you to identify the safest and most efficient method to deliver your steel to site.

From start to finish, you can rely on our local team of estimators, schedulers, engineers, project managers, account managers and delivery drivers to do whatever it takes to make your project (and business) successful.

AUSREO sources recycled steel from Australian manufacturers. We are ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certified.

Men of Steel On the Water

AUSREO is the proud sponsor of a Beneteau 47.7 racing yacht based in Sydney. Skippered by Ian Creak, the AUSREO crew placed 10th in IRC Division 3 at the 2016 Sydney to Hobart Yacht race.

"We may be in steel reinforcement, but there are strong similarities between crewing a yacht and running a business because in both instances it takes a real team effort with everyone pulling together to achieve success", said Dennis Crestani, CEO.

AUSREO supports Geelong's Amateur Athletes

Our local Geelong service centre is a proud sponsor of the Geelong Amateur Football and Netball club, as well as the local baseball club.
